Netflix, both an innovator in the area of movie streaming and one of the most convenient applications for streaming media. Allows it's subscribers to stream via computers such as PC's and Mac's - via game consoles such as Microsoft's XBox, Sony's PS3, Nintendo's Wii and 3DS and via mobile devises such as iPhones, iPad's and Android smartphones.
With the advent of digital streaming and the greater consumer demand for higher definition media, it is no wonder that Apple has followed suit and created the Retina Display for their latest smart tablet creation, the iPad 3.
This particular move in the mobile industry chess game has allowed Netflix the opportunity to innovate once more. This time the innovation is in their new Netflix App update for the iPad 3 iOS. Although there is no definite time when the app will be updated, owners of the new iPad 3 will soon get the much anticipated update and will be able to take full advatage of the new retina display technology while enjoying their favorite movies and TV shows via Netflix.
