Here is a list of some of the best high priority website directories that you can submit your website to.

Keep in mind that this is a work in progress and should be treated as such. It will be updated periodically and sites will be added and removed based on priority.

Also, most website directories listed here offer free submission but some have a price. You can weigh your options whether or not to pay to have your site included in certain website directories.

SEOMOZ – This website is very expensive, but it ranks very high in both Google page rank and Alexa.

Yellowpages - Yes the infamous Yellow pages ranks super high with Google. Submitting your website there is a must do.

The White Pages - Again, I highly recommend submitting your site to these business directories. You will generate plenty more traffic than if you didn't.

DMOZ Here's one of the most trusted website directories. It may take a couple of weeks to be approved, but the benefit to being listed is invaluable. Word to the wise, when you visit the site, simply follow the links to the category your site fits best. Once you find your website niche, you will then see a link that will allow you to submit your site. In other words, you won't see the link on the home page, you have to find it on the page that fit's your websites category best.

JustDial - This one may be worth checking out, but I had a bit of trouble trying to submit socialeaf. So try it out and see if it's worth it. The page rank is decent but it has been falling, so use your own intelligent discression.
